Purpose:
To develop a resilient community to address climate shocks and its impact on Community people.

Targeted Population:
Women of reproductive age, Adolescent girls, Community people and Health Care Providers

Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is implementing interventions to reduce the health impact caused by climate changes in the selected areas and target population of Sunamganj & Dowarabazar Upazilas of Sunamganj districts. The Project works to reinforce the integrated climate-informed sexual and reproductive health services focusing on facility readiness, capacity building, maternal, neonatal, and reproductive health, and GBV services and information in all aspects of mobilization and health care facilities. The PHD step is to enhance the area of climate-responsive health facilities through capacity-strengthening support for GoB service providers to improve SRHR and MISP services.  To aware, the community people of climate-informed SRHR such as Family planning, antenatal care, postnatal care, facility delivery, etc. community health volunteers are mobilizing the information through household visits. The hard-to-reach unions and villages are accessed through responsible and interested people in the community. Along with these, awareness sessions, workshops, and dedicated assemblies are organized with different community platforms, community leaders, and people of different ages and sexes to sensitize them about SRHR climate resilience information and services. Intending to relate the real-life scenario of SRHR with the community people, different kinds of digital SRHR messages are designed and circulated to reach more people.

To ensure the proper monitoring and evaluation of monthly staff Coordination Meetings at the District, Joint monitoring visits by GoB (CS, DDFP, UH &FOP, UFPO), and field monitoring for Project staff are ensured.

In addition, Performance evaluation results are reported by PHD after the evaluation period where besides the budgetary control activities like capacity development non-budgetary controlled activities to include to illustrate the program outputs and outcomes.

Output 1.2: Improved availability of high-quality, human rights-based comprehensive, integrated sexual and reproductive health information and services across the development and humanitarian continuum, especially for the most vulnerable and marginalized women and girls

Output Indicator:

# of people oriented on health (with a focus on SRHR) impacts of climate change (disaggregated by community gatekeepers, member of CSO).

# of health service providers trained on health (SRHR) impact of climate change.

# of health service providers trained on MISP.
